The award with the theme, “RISE UP” significantly recognizes the resilience of entrepreneurs during this elongated Covid-19 crisis.

The pandemic has presented entrepreneurs with unusual challenges. The emergence of unprecedented variants of virus and economic instability created additional business hurdles. Nevertheless, they have fought on and finally reached the pinnacle of their careers.

“I am very grateful to receive this award among many other candidates in this category. And we are also proud to be able to help the SMEs in Malaysia digitalise their businesses by providing them with software solutions. Indeed, this award is another milestone for our company, for all the initiatives in many years advocating the application of software technology, as the way forward”, said Operion & Ecommerce Software Founder/CEO, Lukas J. Tan. The company specializes in Domain Expertise and has been in business since 2007.

Following this award recognition, the company has been receiving correspondence from interested parties from abroad. As of now, Operion & Ecommerce Software is exploring the international market starting with ASEAN countries. The plan is to expand to other underserved markets via collaboration with potential and current new partners in various identified sectors. Among the key elements in the partnership is to reach a wider geographical frame to spread the opportunity of developing the industry.

Lukas J. Tan, a Penang-born software specialist added, “Since the demand is exceeding supply, Operion & Ecommerce Software is poised to recruit and train local and international candidates to become professional software technicians as part of the solution to support the supply chain”.

Following this, it is hoped that this initiative will adequately open the opportunities and possibilities for a more progressive ASEAN’s SME businesses and community in near future.
