Kimberly-Clark Named ‘Best Companies to Work For’ In Malaysia, Celebrates Five-Time Win Of HR Asia Award

Kimberly-Clark announced that it had picked up the 2021 HR Asia Best Companies to Work for in Asia (Malaysia Edition) Award, making the company a five-time winner of the accolade.

Winners of the Award were determined by employees from some 250 companies across Malaysia through a meticulously designed questionnaire that evaluates organisations on employee morale, needs and expectations, corporate culture as well as engagement efforts. 

Kimberly-Clark Malaysia scored well above the industry average in all areas outlined and through the survey. 

“We are extremely honoured to be named HR Asia’s Best Companies to Work for once again and more so, during a time where Covid-19 brought upon unprecedented complexities for many businesses. The pandemic challenged us to stretch our thinking and reshape our approach to HR especially when the country went into lockdown. We immediately saw the importance of clearly communicating strategies, being transparent and timely with updates to our employees and placing great emphasis on allowing employees to share feedback openly,” said Ng Li Lin, HR Director of Kimberly-Clark Malaysia

The survey findings revealed that Kimberly-Clark Malaysia has a clear and open communication policy between employees regardless of seniority, acts on employees’ feedback, has a strong teamwork culture and flexible working arrangements. 

The company saw these as integral factors in enabling workplace satisfaction and happiness, and their strategy had been proven to be successful as employees stated that they would recommend Kimberly-Clark to others as a great place to work and are willing to go the extra mile for the organisation.
