Dentsu Indonesia has announced the appointment of Aloysia Dian Anggraeni (pictured left) as CEO of media service line and Laode Hartanto (pictured right) as its first chief growth officer. Anggraeni's appointment as CEO is effective immediately. Hartanto will commence duties on 1 April 2022. Both will join the Dentsu Indonesia executive team, and they'll be reporting directly to CEO Prakash Kamdar.

Dentsu's growth continues with its recent appointments, including Prakash Kamdar as CEO in Indonesia and promotions for Wisnu Satya Putra (CEO, Creative) and Arshad Rahman (CEO, Customer Experience Management / CXM).

Anggraeni has 17yrs of advertising experience, and she started as the Head of Global clients in Carat Indonesia before becoming General Manager for Vizeum Indonesia. Under Anggraeni's leadership, the merger of Vizeum and Main Media was successfully done, and she eventually served as the MD of Carat and Vizeum Indonesia.

Anggraeni said that Dentsu's media service line is well-positioned in the market in terms of growth, performance, and capabilities. "Now, we are ready to push it onwards and upwards even more. I am looking forward to working closely with the board and the entire family to make great strides forward in the coming years," she added.

Hartanto has 15+ years of experience driving clients' growth of giant media and tech companies, including Gojek, Emtek Group, Facebook, and MNC Group.

Hartanto will work across Dentsu's three service lines-creative, media, and CXM to provide further impetus for Dentsu's ongoing growth. His focus will be on strengthening the partnership with clients in order to scale their business and reach new heights. Hartanto said he is confident to bring a new horizon on how an agency can lift brands and continue its successful growth.

Meanwhile, Kamdar said, Anggraeni is an experienced leader. She has been with Dentsu Indonesia since 2015, and in that time she has brought a lot of impact to the company. "I also look forward to Hartanto joining us and leveraging his unique perspective and deep expertise in advertising to strengthen our partnership with clients and grow their business to new heights," Kamdar said. Kamdar has replaced Maya Watono, who left in January to take up a new role at Aviasi Pariwisata Indonesia for Indonesia's state-owned enterprises. Maya is taking on a role focusing on developing and promoting Indonesia's cultural, tourism, and aviation assets.
