Lenovo Named As Best Employer in Asia

HR Asia’s ‘Best Companies to Work for in Asia’ title is the region’s only employee’s choice award to recognise excellence in HR practices, working environment, and employee job satisfaction.

Lenovo, the world’s leading PC and smart device manufacturer has been named one of the Best Companies to Work for in Asia 2020 by HR Asia, Asia’s leading human resources publication, for the first time. The award distinguishes Lenovo for the high levels of employee engagement, talent development, workplace culture, as well as HR operational excellence that it practices across its Central Asia Pacific region.

HR Asia’s Best Companies to Work for in Asia is the only award judged by employees based on its proprietary Total Engagement Assessment Model (TEAM) – a robust and scalable assessment tool that evaluates organisations’ HR practices, working environment, and job satisfaction.

From a pool of highly qualified nominees, Lenovo was selected due to its strong people-first approach, ranging from its workplace policies and practices that define the ‘We Are Lenovo’ culture; excellent employee benefits programme for education, healthcare and personal wellbeing; employee engagement activities that build a culture of trust through volunteerism; talent development that identifies future leaders through its High Potential Talent Programme.

“We are honoured to be named as one of the best companies to work for in Asia,” said Bella Chan, HR Director of Central Asia Pacific at Lenovo. “At Lenovo, our employees are our most valued customers, and we believe listening and enhancing employee experiences through building trust, teamwork and a sense of entrepreneurship is the key to making us the best place to work.”
